“I started seeing Kate to build core strength without knowing the impact she would have on my life from surviving prostate cancer.  I had been seeing Kate monthly to build strength in my core an my back, when 1 of my worst fears happened, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer.  In talking to Kate during 1 of our sessions, she explained how she would set me up for the best outcome post surgery.  She modified my exercise program to give focus where it needed to be. This in turn helped reduce my recovery time from robotic surgery and had a huge impact on not having to suffer from any incontinence at all.  Even the Urology Oncologist was impressed with the results.  Kate was truly a saving grace for me.

“Kate helped me after a very bleak period following a series of injuries and bad advice from “specialists”. I love playing sports. Soccer, Muay Thai and Hiking were my favorites and I couldn’t even do this stuff. I had a weak core, a bad knee, tight hips…I was all types of broken.

This is not about getting “abs” (although if that’s your goal, it will help you do that as well), but about helping you identify weaknesses or imbalances in your core strength (deep core) and develop strategies to correct this. The ultimate goal is the application of core recruitment to strength training and CrossFit.

Kate’s strategies helped me recover from a bad injury last November, which allowed me to get back doing CrossFit within 5 weeks. (I had torn my adductor and strained my psoas doing heavy squats. I would have otherwise been out for maybe 3 months).”
