Personal Training Testimonials
Kate’s clients are her product and her salespeople. As Kate says “I love training them!”
Here’s what Kate’s clients say about training with her:
“I started seeing Kate to build core strength without knowing the impact she would have on my life from surviving prostate cancer. I had been seeing Kate monthly to build strength in my core an my back, when 1 of my worst fears happened, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. In talking to Kate during 1 of our sessions, she explained how she would set me up for the best outcome post surgery. She modified my exercise program to give focus where it needed to be. This in turn helped reduce my recovery time from robotic surgery and had a huge impact on not having to suffer from any incontinence at all. Even the Urology Oncologist was impressed with the results. Kate was truly a saving grace for me.

“I have been working with Kate for 6 months now. In that time, I’ve gone from having pain just lying on the floor to having actual muscles and a strong core.
I love working with Kate, it is the highlight of my week. Her deep breadth of knowledge and advocacy for the female body pre and post baby is impressive. Her passion for what she does is clear and working with her has been a game changer. I feel challenged yet taken care of while working with her.
And now, I can touch my toes for the first time since high school. Thanks Kate!”

“Hi Kate, guess what! I’m actually noticing a big difference in my strength and in how my body looks these days. Our work together is working. Thank you.”

“After three pregnancies, I personally experienced a six finger separation in my abdomen associated to diastasis. This caused a bit of physical discomfort, the possibility for long-term problems like incontinence, and posed a real problem gaining the comfort to rock anything but a one-piece bathing suit at the beach. Plus, with each pregnancy, the separation became larger and longer, and more unsightly.
I was introduced to Kate, who is a certified personal trainer, specializing in women’s wellness, with a unique focus on prenatal and postpartum fitness. Kate’s training will work to rehabilitate the abdominal wall, healing that troublesome diastasis and flattening the belly.
Definitely worth connecting (no pun intended ? ) and good luck!”

“Thank you for the contribution of the awesome shit I can now do! Physically & mentally! You came into my life just at the right time. I had lost that cheerleader in my head…. you came in and were my cheerleader and helped me fine my own again. Don’t think I could EVER repay you for that! Priceless”

“From the moment I met Kate, I knew she had all the qualities that I was looking for in a trainer. She is enthusiastic, supportive and knowledgeable. I met Kate two and a half years ago – a year after the birth of my third child. I was very discouraged about how my body looked and felt. I didn’t realize at the time, but I was suffering from a very large abdominal diastasis (which made me look like I was still pregnant – believe me, strangers on the street asked if I was!) and pelvic pain and weakness. Now I am strong enough to plank and I feel great! Kate has helped me with her extensive knowledge and passion for what she does. She is always supportive and never upset if I’ve had a bad week with my exercises. She pushes me to be my best! Thanks Kate!!”

“Kate helped me after a very bleak period following a series of injuries and bad advice from “specialists”. I love playing sports. Soccer, Muay Thai and Hiking were my favorites and I couldn’t even do this stuff. I had a weak core, a bad knee, tight hips…I was all types of broken.
When I met Kate, she did an assessment and told me the type of exercises that I should stay away from and those that I should do. It took 3 sessions to get me feeling better again. My mobility improved tremendously and I felt like I had hope of full recovery after every training session. Kate is the real deal.”

“I trained with Kate Rita on a regular basis for a little over two years. During this time, I accomplished far more than I thought I could: I lost over 50 pounds and fitness has become a core value of mine ever since. This is largely a result of Kate’s commitment to her clients, her endless dedication, and her contagious enthusiasm. She believes in fitness in the sense that it increases wellness in all areas of life. Having Kate as a trainer means having a source of accountability, a source of dedication, and a source of inspiration!”

“I’m at work, and suddenly my left pelvis was KILLING me (pubic bone) and I could barely walk. I sat at my desk and did the ball sit leg lifts and OMG. I am FINE NOW!!!!! I just want to say thank you sooo much for teaching me these go-tos Kate. I was in so much pain and now I’m fine. You are brilliant. :)”

“Thanks so much for helping me get from an 8 finger to 3 finger! Your kindness, patience and support made the very emotional post-natal process of putting myself back together easier than it could have been.”

“Kate’s knowledge of functional core training is vast and in-depth. This is not about getting “abs” (although if that’s your goal, it will help you do that as well), but about helping you identify weaknesses or imbalances in your core strength (deep core) and develop strategies to correct this. The ultimate goal is the application of core recruitment to strength training and CrossFit.
Kate’s strategies helped me recover from a bad injury last November, which allowed me to get back doing CrossFit within 5 weeks. (I had torn my adductor and strained my psoas doing heavy squats. I would have otherwise been out for maybe 3 months).”

“Kate has helped me lose weight and inches from my body and has made it enjoyable and fun for myself and my kids. Kate has worked with me after 3 of my pregnancies and each time has helped me lose over 25 pounds. (This is all over a 4 year period!)
Kate pushes you to your full potential while always educating and ensuring you don’t push your body beyond its limits, especially for a woman. Kate has taught me things about my body that every mum should know and be aware of early on. I encourage you to ask Kate as many questions as you have.
Thank you Kate for helping me achieve my fitness goals. May this only be the beginning!”

“Thanks for today my body feels so loose. I think you added ten years on to my life. I can’t wait to see how I will feel over the next couple of weeks! ”

“Hi Kate, I was actually going to email you this week. I am doing FANTASTIC!! I had a “miracle” moment this weekend. I was painting my toe nails which I do with my foot up on the toilet seat and bent over. When I do this I usually have excruciating pain when I stand back up but guess what…no pain. I actually had to bend down and back up a few times to make sure this was for real. I was so excited I ran through the house to tell Kevin. Kate this annoying back pain has plagued me for over 10 years and I can’t believe you have been able to pinpoint the issue and helped me to overcome it. This feels like a miracle.”

“I consider myself very fortunate to have Kate as my personal trainer. When I realized I was suffering from an abdominal diastasis (‘mummy tummy”) I wasn’t sure if exercise would really help or actually repair it. I feel that Kate is one of the few trainers I have met that has the in-depth knowledge of appropriate post-natal exercises.”

“Kate’s knowledge, professionalism and credentials are so very impressive, but her personal attention and her cheerful, caring manner are unbeatable. I have found the variety and level of the program to be challenging and not the usual pregnancy exercises that I’ve come across in my own research.
I feel great, even heading into the final weeks of my pregnancy. I know that I could never obtain the same results without Kate’s knowledge, guidance, encouragement and support. Thank you, Kate, for accompanying me on this journey! I mean it when I say that you are the best and really push me with your creative workouts! I am in better shape than I was before pregnant, that’s for sure, (and I was in great shape then, so that says a lot)
(Postnatal) I really believe all the training I did during the pregnancy prepared him [the baby] for the stress, and in this case, extra stress of labor…… I’m telling you, no one could believe that I did it and I really thought about you and the part you played in keeping me fit for this big event.”

“I have been working on the ab rehab program with personal trainer Kate Rita. It has been a wonderful and challenging compliment to my post natal exercise routine. Being a new mom, Kate has an inspirational way of keeping people motivated by sharing the difficulties and successes of her own postnatal experience with ab rehab. She has been very thorough in answering questions , is extremely knowledgeable, and offers great training insight towards my existing program. Personable and caring, Kate continues to be an integral part of my recovery process.”

“Kate is amazing – so enthusiastic, encouraging and knowledgeable. I’ve taken other running clinics before but with Kate it was totally different. She is a wealth of information and she brings everything she has to each and every session. Her confidence in me inspired me so much. She’s truly one of a kind and I would whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone looking to achieve their fitness goals.”

“This is my third run clinic and it’s the best ever mainly because of Kate Rita – our coach. She is more than a teacher – she’s a mentor; more than a clinic instructor – she’s a life coach. I hope all clinic coaches are like her – motivating, emphatic, passionate and committed. The clinic topics were interesting, relevant and practical. ”
